HIAG Acquires Amcor Flexibles Site in Goldach Improving its Presence in Canton St. Gallen

Basel, 10 December 2018 - HIAG has acquired the site of Amcor Flexibles Rorschach AG in Goldach (SG) as part of a sale-leaseback transaction. Amcor Flexibles Rorschach AG is a subsidiary of Amcor Limited, a leading producer of rigid and flexible packaging products. The site covers around 64'000m2 and is situated next to the lake Constance in the west of the municipality Goldach. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
By signing a long-term lease agreement with Amcor Flexibles Rorschach AG HIAG has strengthened its earnings basis.
