HIAG acquires the site of FCA Switzerland SA at Freihofstrasse 25 in Zurich-Altstetten

Basel, 30 September 2019 – HIAG takes over the site of FCA Switzerland SA in Zurich-Altstetten.The transfer of ownership will take place after the legally and contractually stipulated conditions of execution have been fulfilled. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
The 7,807 m2 property is located in the five-storey residential zone. The area allows a high-quality development with a total floor area of around 16,000 m2. A preliminary contract has already been signed with a retailer for a rental area of around 1,800 m2.
With the acquisition in the up-and-coming Altstetten quarter in the city of Zurich, HIAG has secured a very interesting medium-term development site for around 150 apartments and 2,200 m2 of attractive commercial uses.
