Basel, 23 April 2020 – The Annual General Meeting of HIAG Immobilien Holding AG took place today in Basel. Due to the exceptional situation in connection with the coronavirus, the meeting was held without the personal participation of the shareholders, based on Art. 6a para. 1 lit. b of COVID-19 Regulation 2. A total of 7,125,441 shares, or 88.51% of the shares entitled to vote, were represented by the independent proxy. The Board of Directors thanks all those who exercised their shareholder rights in this way.

 

The Annual General Meeting approved all proposals of the Board of Directors. In particular, the distribution of a dividend for the 2019 financial year was waived. Furthermore, Salome Grisard Varnholt, Dr. Walter Jakob, Dr. Jvo Grundler and Balz Halter were re-elected as members of the Board of Directors and Dr. Felix Grisard as Chairman of the Board of Directors until the end of the next Annual General Meeting. Salome Grisard Varnholt and Dr. Walter Jakob were confirmed as members of the Compensation Committee for the same period. Ernst & Young AG, Basel, were re-elected as auditors for the 2020 financial year.
