Describe your job at HIAG: what are you responsible for?
In my new role as Accounting Team Leader, I manage the accounting team in terms of both personnel and technical matters. I am responsible for the smooth running of financial accounting, accounts receivable and accounts payable. My tasks also include preparing VAT returns for the entire group of companies on time.

What do you like most about your work at HIAG?
I find the real estate industry particularly exciting in terms of accounting, as it offers a wide range of interesting and varied tasks. I also find HIAG's size ideal, as it gives me the opportunity to be involved in all accounting processes. Of course, I also really appreciate the daily interaction with my colleagues.

What are the biggest challenges in your day-to-day work?
One of the biggest challenges is keeping track of all tasks and responsibilities while ensuring that they are carried out correctly and on time. Value added tax is particularly complex in the real estate industry. It requires a great deal of expertise to assess the various business transactions correctly and prepare the accounts for all companies accurately.
