The new centre will bring together around 250 highly qualified employees who are currently spread across three Swiss locations. Research and development, engineering, production and customer service will be consolidated at the new site – efficiently, innovatively and with a focus on the future.
Construction of the production and office building began in April 2025 and is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2026. Commissioning is expected to take place in the first quarter of 2027. ‘The successful establishment of Oerlikon confirms the attractiveness and potential of the Reichhold Campus. It shows that our strategy of attracting leading industrial and technology companies as tenants is paying off,’ explains Marco Feusi, CEO of HIAG.

Ceremonial laying of the foundation stone with symbolic act

The official groundbreaking ceremony took place in the presence of numerous guests from politics, business and architecture. Speeches were given by Marco Feusi (CEO HIAG), Simon Kopf (Head Oerlikon CH/LI), Dirk Linzmeier (COO Oerlikon), Andreas Arrigoni (Mayor of Hausen) and Dieter Egli (Landammann of the Canton of Aargau).
