HIAG has completed the ALTO residential tower block at the junction of Baslerstrasse and Freihofstrasse. The building, which stands approximately 80 metres tall, was constructed on the site of the former Binelli garage complex and is a striking feature of the up-and-coming Zurich Altstetten neighbourhood. Spread over 24 residential floors, ALTO offers a total of 149 attractive rental flats ranging from 2.5 to 4.5 rooms. The first floor features a communal lounge and a roof garden, which serve as meeting places for residents. The ground floor is intended for public use and helps to bring the neighbourhood to life. A long-term tenancy agreement with a retailer was secured at an early stage.
