The building and infrastructure of the former Rohner chemical plant are currently being dismantled at the site. This involves clearing away chemicals, removing harmful substances, dismantling the plant and building and disposing of partially contaminated underground material. The development of the town centre that has begun should provide for mixed-use development at the site with innovative living space as well as office and commercial space.
