Whistleblowing
For HIAG, trust and credibility are important corporate values. Therefore, HIAG and its employees always endeavour to fully comply with all codes, agreements, laws and other obligations. Nevertheless, violations may occur in individual cases.
HIAG encourages all stakeholders (such as employees, suppliers, investors, non-governmental organisations, local authorities, associations, trade unions, private individuals, etc.) to report information or suspected cases of violations of codes, agreements, laws and other obligations. Possible reports may concern the following issues, among others:
- Misconduct by HIAG employees
- Misconduct by HIAG's business partners
- Indications of child or forced labour along HIAG's supply chain
- Indications of human rights violations along HIAG's supply chain
HIAG takes all reports seriously and treats them confidentially. Whistleblowers who raise suspicions in good faith are protected from any reprisals, regardless of the outcome of the investigation. Retaliation by employees or third parties will not be tolerated by HIAG.
If a violation is detected, HIAG will seek dialogue with the person(s) concerned and jointly agree on measures for improvement with a clear deadline for implementation. If these measures are not implemented as agreed, HIAG reserves the right to terminate the business relationship. In the event of serious offences, HIAG may terminate the business relationship immediately. Offences will be reported to the competent authorities.
Reports can be made personally in written or verbal form to HIAG's General Counsel. Alternatively, reports can be submitted in anonymised form via the whistleblowing form on HIAG's website. Please formulate your report as detailed and specific as possible. In the case of anonymous reports, you can no longer be contacted. No further questions can be directed to you.
Alternatively, you can submit your report in writing by post, telephone or e-mail. Further information can be found in our Codes of Conduct.
